I hold a PhD in Art and Communication with Photography as my field of specialism and a PGCE teaching certificate in Post Compulsory Education.
At the same time I am a practising photographic artist with an interest in abstract photography. I have a comprehensive understanding of contemporary photographic practices and of theoretical approaches to the subject, and also have a strong technical grounding both in traditional and in digital processes. I am experienced in all stages of the development of photographic projects, from early conceptualisation through to printing and exhibiting.I have exhibited nationally and internationally in both solo and group shows. My selection for the Bloomberg New Contemporaries 2008 Exhibition in Liverpool and London is one highlight among them.

During the last two years I have been teaching different courses at the University of Leicester, acquiring a strong experience in dealing with students. I am a highly experienced language educator with a degree from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. For the past 30 years, I have been teaching both Modern Greek and Classical Greek to learners of various ages and backgrounds. My teaching approach combines a strong foundation in grammar and language structure with an appreciation for Greek culture and history, aiming to make lessons both educational and engaging. I am passionate about helping students build confidence in their language skills while deepening their understanding of Greece's linguistic heritage.
