I live in South Wales with my daughter and our pet cat. Besides study and work, I enjoy walking, keeping fit and photography. I have also recently volunteered at a local primary school working on numeracy/literacy interventions and I recently worked part time at in the Learning Support department of a local Comprehensive school. Paolo is an Italian songwriter, composer, and stage director based in London.

He has independently composed, produced, and released solo albums, as well as soundtracks for theatre productions and songs for other artists. Beginning his music career in 1992, Paolo is also an accomplished singer and guitarist who has performed across Europe and collaborated with numerous international artists.

His unique writing style has evolved over years of traveling, literary studies, and ongoing poetic exploration, which earned him first prize in poetry at the Pirandello Stable Festival in 2012.

Paolo's theatre and cinema career began in 1998. I have worked mainly in year 6 preparing children to pass their SATs and also I have tutored children to pass their 11+ exams. Being a year 6 teacher for such a long time has made me extremely confident in helping children to revise and succeed in their assessments.

I have worked closely with children who have additional needs throughout my career and I have attended lots of training in the past to support this. During the school day I tutor a large number of children who are not in education (for various reasons) and have lots of experience in helping these children.

I will adapt learning to the individual need of your child/children. Making it as interactive and fun as possible.

Although I am trained in Primary I am happy to work with secondary children who need additional support too.

Tutoring Approach:
I like to try tailor the sessions to meet the needs of the individual. I love doing this because it is something that all children need but as a classroom teacher of 30 is not always possible.

If your child needs active learning, if they need lots of repetition to make the learning stick then I can do that. I will try to make the learning as fun as possible and I will also provide home tasks (optional) to support your child's learning in between sessions.

Personal Description:
Hello my name is Louis and I am going into my second year at Bath university studying pure Economics. At A levels, I got A*'s in French, Economics and Geography as well as an A in maths. I am fluent in French and could also teach spanish up to the GCSE level if need be.

Teaching Experience:
I have tutored on and off independently for about 5 years now.
I have also volunteered as a TA as a local primary school.

Tutoring Approach:
I try to cater to what the student is looking for, making lessons engaging and focusing on them being proactive during the lesson rather than me talking the whole time.
