I do not have any official qualifications in Italian, however my background in romance languages (Italian is a Latin-based language which, broadly speaking, I find to have a very similar vocabulary to Spanish with the grammar of French!) and my methodical nature means I would ensure that every lesson is thoroughly planned and carefully checked; I would never teach you anything I am unsure of, as this can be greatly detrimental. I am not available to help with exam preparation for Italian or to teach more advanced levels. I have been teaching French for over 15 years. I taught 12 years in secondary schools in schools around Birmingham, West Midlands. I taught GCSE and A Level and also taught evening classes to adults.

I also taught ESOL for over 6 years at Birmingham Metropolitan College.

I have also been teaching online for over five years. I have been working with a wide variety of students from around the world from different abilities and with various objectives. I have been working with total beginners up to advanced students. I have prepared students for numerous exams such as IGCSE, GCSE, A Level, Nationality tests, DELF and DALF. For a year, I taught English to a class of 33 first-year law students, designing lessons that focused on the specific language skills they needed in a legal context.
