As a part of the IB we needed to complete something called Creativity Action and Service (CAS hours), for my service I tutored students in the lower years in French. I'm currently working at a 2:1 standard on an interdisciplinary degree at the University of Nottingham. This program allows me to weave a rich academic tapestry, blending sociology, politics, theology, and more.

From a young age I've held a deep love for learning, and I would be genuinely thrilled to facilitate it in others. On my uni course I have developed and delivered high-quality presentations and written many first-class essays. We had some regular visitors who were dealing with mental health difficulties which especially allowed me to grow my compassion.

Tutoring Approach:
I enjoy finding ways to explain things to people that makes the complicated, easy. What I think sets me apart is my philosophy. Education isn't a one-size-fits-all process. It's a personal journey, and everyone has their unique rhythm and route. Whatever aspect of the subject is proving challenging, whether that's understanding the concepts or working according to the mark scheme, I hope to help students overcome it in a way that works for them and gets them a grade they truly deserve. I would point the way and show them examples at each step.

Not a single person in this world sees things exactly the same way; I would show my students how to take the ideas in their head and to synthesise pieces of evidence and analyse the content in an academic and structured way to get their points across with impact. My intention is not simply to share my techniques but rather to use them as a springboard and get to know my students so that, together, we can figure out ways of studying that really work for them.

I know school can be tough- seriously, I've been there. My aim is not to dictate, but to guide, to help students understand their subject in a new light. I want to delve into the curriculum in a way that makes it click, that reframes how my students see it.
