I then take these away and mark them in my own time and return with a deeper view of where they are going wrong after they have been taught. I believe in a thorough method of learning languages - not the 'phrase-book style' fashionable for some years. As much speaking practice as possible is essential.

Although I learned all my foreign languages through a rigorous method very much based on writing and grammar, I am happy to adapt my method to my pupil's needs. The following steps outline the process of each tuition session:
