A graduate from Amiens University with a BA in English Literature & Civilization, I also studied Fashion Design & Illustration in the international Paris American Academy.

Learning a foreign language is a process that implies some mimicking, language awareness, practice on comprehension, expression and also creativity. Conscious learning is a process in which I am extremely interested because it feels as if we are actually helping our minds to store the data so they can be available for us to use. My approach to tutoring is student-centred.

Depending on the age and requirements of the student, I can adapt my teaching approach to the individual's needs. I am happy to teach groups of up to 5 students. It would work out less expensive!

Primary level would be teaching through songs and games in a fun way. Lessons usually last 30 mins, which will cost £20 per pupil for a one-to-one session. GCSE and A Level would be focusing on exam preparation and speaking practice, supporting the student to become more confident. I would base my teaching on supporting the subject teacher.

Adult teaching would be tailored to the individual's needs. Some students just want to improve their speaking, therefore I would tailor the lessons to accommodate their need. Some may just want to learn some basic phrases for a holiday in Germany, I would plan lessons based on that need.

First of all , we will have a conversation to getting to know you better, where I could evaluate your level and what do you wish to work on the different skills to learn a language according to your needs and your goals:
- Speaking: the best way to learn a language , with different topics you are interested in, using videos, films, musics, art, books, articles, etc…
- Listening and Reading to work on your pronunciation and your understanding using as many materials as you need: musics, news, films, texts etc...
- Writing, on subjects according to your goals, to work on your grammar and vocabulary. You can choose to work on specific points with exercises or also by having fun with games and challenges , there is so many different ways to learn a language!

I am qualified and have the experience to work with children and adults at any level , as to prepare any exams in National 5, Highers, Advanced Highers, GCSEs, AS and A levels.

I have experience tutoring Maths and Chemistry across different levels, including GCSE and younger students, helping them build a strong foundation and excel in their exams.
