I lived and worked in France from 1982 to 1985. I have always spent the summer holidays from the age of 12 living with a French family and feel equally at home in France or England. From school age I knew I wanted to travel and find new places learning the language as I went. Studying French and Spanish at University College London gave me the incredible opportunity to live in Madrid for a year, where I became fluent in Spanish. Personal Description:
⦁ I have studied in the 'classes préparatoires' in France, the best education in the country. There I studied French and English extensively for 3 years. I gained invaluable experience of translation practice and was awarded prizes and merit distinctions.
⦁ In the most prestigious Universities in France, "École normale supérieure de Paris", and Sorbonne University (Paris), I studied to become a teacher and gained my French PGCE.
⦁ I gained a MA in Teaching French as Second Language, to be able to share the language I love so much.
