Maths and English can be challenging subjects for children, therefore I try to keep things simple and work step by step, to assist the student in understanding the concepts, also polishing the basics as we go along.

Tutoring takes place either in the student's own home if you are in the Lichfield area, or alternatively online using Google Classroom and Google Meet. This is a reliable platform which enables parents/carers to access materials and work done on a 'teacher' basis so that you can monitor work being completed, and which also allows the student to build up a successive range of work done and materials accessed as the weeks progress.

I work closely with parents/carers as well as the student to assess any immediate needs that the student has in their English studies. This means that the tuition I provide can support targeted areas that need further development and help each student fulfil their potential. All materials, whether face to face or online, are prepared in advance and are produced to support achievement in English.
