Whilst, as an English teacher, I do enjoy a good book, my main interest lies in physical activity. I am passionate about physical fitness and everything that comes with it: flexibility, mobility and nutrition.

I am a 26 year old living in Feltham, I work full time as a Disability Advisor and Autism Specialist Mentor supporting higher education students to access reasonable adjustments, provide pastoral support and advice. I also co-run workshops and events for the university I work for. Outside of the classroom, my skills as a climbing and mountaineering instructor help to enhance my practice and bring a fresh perspective to the material studied within an academic context.

On a personal level, I get great satisfaction from helping students progress and seeing consecutive generations achieve the academic qualifications that allow them to progress onto the next step in their lives.

I have 7 years of experience in the English classroom; teaching across all secondary age ranges of KS3, GCSE and A-Level. I have a record of consistently excellent results with all exam classes I have taught, combined with a strong rapport built with students from every age range.

Tutoring Approach:
My teaching style is dynamic, adaptable and underpinned by a passion for the subject. I can accurately assess and analyse the greatest needs of a student, and then tailor a bespoke package of learning sequences based upon this analysis. Personal Description:
First-class graduate of the University of Cambridge, I have tutored professionally since January 2023 and have worked in secondary schools in the UK between March 2017 and July 2018 full-time, working supply between February 2023 and July 2024.

I have tutored 4 students thus far, from Year 10 or 11 until their GCSE exams. My students have had great successes: my first student climbed 2 and 3 grades in their English GCSEs, passing them and allowing them to move on to sixth form without resits; another student achieved 8s in both English GCSEs, way higher than expected, and climbed grades over time in Maths; whilst another student also passed GCSE English Literature first time, with a Grade 4, well above his initial starting grade when we began tutoring.

My secondary school experience includes time as a full-time Cover Supervisor (March - July 2017), full-time Learning Support Assistant including sole teaching of KS3 SEN Literacy classes (September 2017 to July 2018), as well as supply LSA, Cover Supervisor and Exam Invigilator work.

I work with whoever, whatever your current grade, and I always aim to listen and understand who you are and what works well for you. Personal Description:
I have spent my life learning languages and have a degree in English and Spanish and other university level qualifications in French. I currently teach GCSE English Language at a local further education college and have recently moved to Bedfordshire and am interested in taking on some tuition classes at weekends and evenings. I do have experience of tutoring online as well as face to face.

Teaching Experience:
I have over 6 years tutoring experience with a great deal of success in both GCSE level and Scottish Highers courses in English, French and Spanish. I originally qualified as a teacher of English as a Foreign Language in Barcelona originally and have been developing linguistic and teaching skills ever since.

Tutoring Approach:
With regard to my approach to tutoring, I always put my students' requirements first and use these to dictate my lesson planning. Normally, I am working with a student towards an exam and part of my role is assisting the students to prepare for the exam and develop appropriate methods for tackling each question. As part of an initial needs analysis, I like to establish any gaps in knowledge that need to be worked on so that the student has the best preparation possible when taking their exam.
