I am a qualified teacher with 2 children. I've been teaching for over 20 years at a variety of schools within Hampshire and across the primary phase. I tutor mainly Maths and English and over the past 7 years I have successfully tutored children through their SAT's exams.

In addition to this I have been teaching adults at a local college since 2016. I teach Functional Skills Maths and English, conquering fears and supporting students to reach their potential. Daytime adult tuition is also available.

I am an experienced, well-qualified teacher of English language and literature. I teach online using Teams or Zoom. I enjoy teaching English literature at all levels. Many of my students have achieved very pleasing results. I have concentrated on English at GCSE level recently. I was born into a French-speaking family and have spoken French my entire life. I have a BA from the London School of Economics in French and Linguistics. I have also lived in France for several years. I have taught French privately for over 20 years and many of my students achieve very high standards. I am very dedicated to my students and try and get the best out of them and build their confidence. I can turn the most hopeless student in French into a budding linguist. I teach spoken French for those who only want to simply speak the language as well as grammar for those who need to take exams. I sing with some of my students as I find singing is a wonderful way of learning a language especially where vocabulary is limited. I begin by assessing the pupils strengths and weaknesses and then plan lessons to suit the individuals needs. I am currently a graduate student in Psychiatry at the University of Oxford. As a curious and driven learner, I am eager to teach what I have learned, as well as learn from those I teach.
