When I meet a student for the first time I always believe in taking time to know them. By this I mean their well being and /or state of mind. Or if they have personal problems, or they are hungry, tired or ill then we will not get very far. Let me briefly describe you my past experience. I was born in Saint-Petersburg and graduated from Russain State University of Foreign Languages, I have a master's degree in teaching of modern languages. I have been working first at school, then privately for more than 15 years.

I started teaching Russian at Trent College in Derbyshire as an extra-curricular activity for a group of students in year 7-8 and 9, providing all the teaching materials and authentic programme.
