I am an MFL teacher with bags of enthusiasm and an immense passion for education and children. My name is Josephine and I'm 32 years old. I'm Danish but have lived in London since 2014 when I did my BA in Fine Art.
I have a Master's Degree in Animation Film from The Royal College of Art.
The past 8 months I've lived in Hebden Bridge between Manchester and Leeds to open our first Studio in FedUP Studio Lab, the production company where I work part time. My role is producer and assistant creative director. I'm a freelancer director in the company as well.

Previous to becoming freelance, I taught various subjects at the University of London and the University of Westminster; in addition to various freelance teaching and translation positions abroad during my years living abroad. I am a member of the British Psychological Society: MBPsS (Graduate Member of the British Psychological Society).

Learner centred: focused on the learner's expressed needs, expressed requirements and set of desired outcomes. A confidence building approach supports autonomous learning in the long term. I help students find a manageable structure to their studies and in setting realistically achievable goals. I help students to prepare well, expand their learning strategies and smoothly move forward towards success!

There are no secrets to success. SUCCESS is the result of preparation, consistency, efficient study skills, and learning from failure. You can do this!

Personal Description:
I have taught EFL in Japan and London; I'm into tennis and have an engineering degree, PGCE and TESOL My interests are piano, writing, travel and tennis; where I play competitively. I live in Newport Pagnell which is right next to Milton Keynes; so I am able to travel up to 10 miles in order to teach students.
I have completed a PGCE in secondary school science in London and did two placements to get practical experience. I also have qualifications in environmental science (post grad), acoustics and mechanical engineering.
Currently I'm working in the construction industry as an engineer doing mainly acoustic testing and consultancy; this involves driving extensively within the south east and beyond.
I'm looking to teach adult learners mainly at the weekends and evenings at around intermediate level; I'd prefer in person

Teaching Experience:
Thave taught EFL at intermediate level in London for a year in groups. I have also taught schools and engineers in Japan for three years including teaching presentation, TOEIC and TOEFL. I've a TESOL (TRINITY) qualification. The Elementary schools required some knowledge of Japanese language and culture as I was often taking the class for the whole lesson. The engineering teaching required travelling within the Tokyo area to teach professional engineers from some of the top universities in Japan.
I'm able to speak some Spanish
