Personal Description:
I am currently an undergraduate student at the University of Oxford studying Philosophy, Politics and Economics. I achieved 3 A*s at A-Level in Maths, Politics and Economics, as well as 8 Grade 9s and 2 Grade 8s at GCSE. I am strongly committed to academic success and hugely passionate about teaching. I am able to tutor online during my holidays.
Teaching Experience:
I have many years of experience with private tuition and giving support to younger students in school across a range of subjects. This includes leading group revision sessions as well as providing individual help with exam questions. Having sat the exams that my students are working towards, I am in a very strong position to help them succeed.
Tutoring Approach:
I aim to give my students not only a better understanding of the subject content, but also the skills to be able to study effectively. I have found this to be an invaluable skill that will help them massively throughout their academic career. I focus on what students find difficult both through listening to the students as well as assessing their level through exam questions.

Personal Description:
I am 43 years old and hold a Masters degree from Oxford University. I work full time as a tutor, now offering lessons online and face-to-face.
Teaching Experience:
I have been tutoring on a one-to-one basis for over 20 years. I also sometimes teach small classes. I am happy teaching children, teenagers, university students and adult learners.
Tutoring Approach:
My teaching uses traditional methods and lively interaction. I expect the student to complete tasks between lessons. Without repetition and revision no-one can be expected to remember. Therefore, I am not afraid to go over the most basic elements until they are well known. Solid foundations are the basis for confidence.

My approach incorporates determining the learning style, ability and time available with the learner; this can range from a very methodical style, i.e., provide knowledge and then re-cap to a more fluid approach if favoured by the candidate.
The time spent with the candidates should be used effectively and leave home-work for periods between sessions ensuring learning is reinforced. Since 2005 I have substantive experience of Private tutoring in my spare time on areas identified; have tutored to a level of students ranging from GCSEs to those undertaking PhDs. Most of the work is done via Teams or Zoom to reduce the time commitments whilst aiding the flexibility levels.

Personal Description:
I have been teaching for the past eight years and am currently Head of Law and a teacher of Economics at a secondary school rated as outstanding by OFSTED. Previous to teaching I graduated in 2006 from Loughborough University with a BSc Hons degree in Banking, Finance and Management, I then worked for three years as a trainee quantity surveyor on a civil engineering project at the Olympic site in Stratford before training to become a teacher. In my spare time, I enjoy taking part in sports, especially track running and cross country.
Teaching Experience:
I am a teacher of A-Level Law under the AQA examination board. I am currently teaching both the old and new specifications for A-Level Law. I also teach both Year 1 and Year 2 Economics on the OCR specification A-Level. As well as preparing students for their exams, I am also confident as a head of subject in providing individual intervention strategies to supplement learning. I also have experience mentoring newly qualified teachers and students.
Tutoring Approach:
I consider myself an approachable teacher and am confident in tailoring the learning dependent on the tutees needs. As well as revising key concepts, I will also ensure students are confident in preparation for the exams by looking at analysis, evaluation and application techniques. Also, I feel it is imperative to spend time looking at exemplar answers and providing writing frameworks to best prepare the tutee for their exam.

Personal Description:
A graduate of Cambridge University and a father of two children, I have been teaching Economics, Business and Mathematics in a secondary school.I have also been tutoring Economics and Mathematics and have a keen interest in how children have different methods of mastering subjects, using their own skills to progress, improve and attain examination goals.
Teaching Experience:
I have been teaching Economics, Business Studies and Mathematics for the past 6 years at an independent school where I was based in the Sixth Form department.
Tutoring Approach:
The key to success is to understand where the student is starting from. By cementing what they already know, I then encourage them to gradually extend their knowledge so that they feel themselves to be making progress and they are then inspired by their own confidence.

INTERESTS & EXTRACURRICULARS:
• I am passionate about Padel, a racket sport like tennis, most popular in Spanish-speaking countries. According to ITV, it is currently the fastest growing sport in the world. I regularly train with my coach and compete for national rankings in the British circuit.
• I am also a fitness enthusiast whether it is spending time in the gym or swimming. My interest in sports has continued since schooling years, having captained my school teams in Athletics, Swimming and Football competitions.
• Public speaking has been a strong interest which I fulfilled, during my education years, via taking part in Model United Nations conferences. This developed my communication skills which allows me to deliver clear explanations to my students. I represented my school and university in conferences at:
- Oxford University;
- Harvard University;
- Imperial College London;
- Cambridge University;
- Global Young Leaders Conference;
- London School of Economics.
Teaching Experience:
Some of my past clients with their written testimonials are listed below:
• Mr. C - Economics Adult Learner from UK Investment Bank:
'I thought, in all honesty, you were patient, likeable, kind, and encouraging. I thought you covered the material well and concisely and, really, I don't see how what you were offering could have been done any better. It was brilliant.'
• Ms. R - MSc Economic Policy Student from University College London:
'Unlike other tutors, when you explain something it sticks in my head.'
• Ms. R - Business Studies Student from Birkbeck College:
'Haris is very keen and dedicated in his job. He explains the concepts very clearly and succinctly. He was very patient with me as English was not my first language. Haris encouraged me and helped me utilise my abilities to their fullest. He is very efficient when it comes to reaching his aims and always seeks his hardest to achieve the targets. I strongly recommend Haris to all my friends and family members.'
• Mr. A - University Statistics Student from University College London:
'The results came in. I got a first! Thank you very much.'
• Mr. R - A Level Economics Student from Edexcel Board:
'It was a pleasure to be tutored by you. It was extremely helpful. My exam went very well. I felt quite confident with it. I only wish I had called you earlier than I did and maybe started the tuition straight after my January exams. However, the help you gave me in the little time we had was brilliant.'
• Ms. G - University Accounting Student from Regent's University:
'You are my trophy tutor!'
• Mr. B - Executive MBA Student from Imperial College London:
'I would like to thank Haris for his professionalism in giving me tuition. He has been able to, in a short period of time, give me good foundations which enabled me answer the exam questions confidently. He has been very focused in guiding me through Macroeconomics and I have found his tuitions very effective. This has resulted in my top mark in the exam.'
• Mr. E - A Level Business Studies Student from AQA Board:
'We are very impressed with Haris. My son gets on very well with Haris.'
• Ms. W - A Level Economics Student from Cambridge Pre-U Board:
'Haris has been exactly what we needed for our son's revision sessions. He is an excellent teacher and has been helping our son enormously. I would highly recommend him to any student who is not 'up to scratch' with the topic. Haris achieved the 'near impossible' with our son. He made the topic so interesting that our son wants to further progress and take the subject to the next level.'

Personal Description:
I have had long and very successful experience of teaching to a variety of qualifications and have always been able to adapt to changes in specification and subject requirements. My results have consistently been excellent.
I have considerable experience of examining and moderating A-level Economics and Business. I was Chief Examiner for a major examining board in A-level Economics for over 20 years and have worked with other examining boards and regulatory authorities. I am an OFQUAL Subject Expert in Economics and Business Studies.
I have been responsible for training many teachers in schools and colleges and at various universities.
I have also published several textbooks, teaching guides and other learning materials for both Economics and Business Studies.
Teaching Experience:
I have 40 years of experience of teaching Business Studies and Economics to O-level, GCSE, A-level, BTEC and degree level.
I have always been an enthusiastic and hard-working teacher and still find teaching fun and very satisfying even after such a long career.
Tutoring Approach:
I am very supportive and aim to make my students more confident and independent so that they can succeed in their examinations or coursework.
Fortnightly sessions are possible where you do work in between for me to mark before the lesson.
When students have specialist teacher(s) at school, college or university the usual way of progressing is for them to work on one or substantial pieces of work. These might be a series of short-answer questions, data response, essays etc. This may be one given to them by their teacher(s) or I can supply assessment materials if needed.
They send me the work a day or to before the lesson so that I can mark it in advance for discussion. There is also often time to discuss one or two topics with which the student is having difficulty.
Students in education usually do one-hour sessions weekly or fortnightly but some students make more or less frequent arrangements.
Although this is the way that most students work, other approaches may be needed depending upon the student's course and requirements. I aim to be as flexible as is necessary to ensure a student's progress.

Personal Description:
I graduated from the LSE with an average of 80% across my modules (top 5% of the year), after having attained 4 A*s at A Level and 10A*s at GCSE. My own method of succeeding in exams was centred around deconstructing past papers at the very beginning of the learning process. This method holds strong across A Level and University exams - having refined this process over the past 5 years, we will build our strategy around what the examiner is looking for, cementing theory by using a wide range of my personal bank of exam-style questions from the very start.
Teaching Experience:
I am an experienced Undergraduate and A-Level tutor specialising in economics and finance. I have helped over 50 students students from Oxbridge, LSE, Warwick, UCL, Nottingham, Kings, Bayes Business School and more to gain 2:1 or First Class marks across their modules.
I also have extensive experience in technical/competency preparation and interview/assessment centre preparation for Investment Banking/Management Consultancy, with several students securing a role at a Bulge Bracket or Big 3 Management Consultancy firm.
Tutoring Approach:
With a background in cognitive development, having run several courses at schools including Haberdashers Aske's Boys' School, Merchant Taylors School and Avanti House School, we will use a range of techniques outside our lessons to promote effective learning. Interspersing our learning with tools such as Active Recall, Chain of Reasoning, Teach to Learn and Interleaving will build a strong foundation to make you a more effective learner across all your subject areas.

Personal Description:
I am a friendly and outgoing tutor. I have studied at Wilson's School and I have a variety of interests. Teaching has always been my passion and I enjoy interacting with young students.
Teaching Experience:
I initially started teaching students at my local library. Finding it a very rewarding experience, I continued this passion by teaching 11+ and GCSE students. I have now added several A Level students as well to my lessons.
I have taught 11+ students on a regular basis. I have also conducted many intensive courses for 11+ Maths and English in July/August in order to help them gain momentum for the 11+ entrance exams.
I have helped several GCSE and students achieve their target grades and have enjoyed seeing them gain confidence with every lesson.
Tutoring Approach:
I believe in connecting with my students in a way that they gain confidence and clear insight in their subject. I follow a clear structure in my lessons in order to cover all relevant topics that they need help in, teaching them not just the theory but also the exam technique to help them achieve the highest marks possible. I share tricks and learning devices with them in order to make memorising/revising a more efficient experience. I set regular homework, including solving past papers.
I focus on helping my students achieve excellence in their subjects by helping them aim higher. I firmly believe that every student has the capability within to attain success. My goal is to help them in this process and make the journey as enjoyable and stress-free as possible.

Personal Description:
I am a Business English Tutor, with a Bachelor's degree in Economics for Business and Marketing. I have spent over 20 years in Corporate, especially in the banking area, where I have gained a lot of experience.
I have 15 years of teaching different Business subjects, I am also a CELTA Cambridge teacher.
Teaching Experience:
I have taught over 1500 lessons, helping my students gain skills and confidence. I know the corporate environment very well, and I would be happy to share my knowledge with you. Thanks to my travels, I can adapt to any culture and adjust my lessons accordingly. I love talking to people and cannot wait to learn more about you. I teach Economics for Business, Accounting, Marketing, Principles of Management and Skills for Business.
Tutoring Approach:
My teaching style is primarily student centred, and I adapt my teaching style in order to cater for everyone and make the material as interesting as possible.
I like to use different books, exercises, colorful PowerPoint slides and even videos where possible to demonstrate my learning points. I believe this is something which increases student interest significantly, and from my experience, leads to a better learning experience overall.
I am highly effective at behavioural management, and focus on the three R's of RESPECT, RESPONSE and the RIGHT way to learn. These have served me well over time.
Finally, I have an approachable, inclusive style of teaching that is sufficiently flexible enough to cater for a diverse range of learning styles, needs and requirements.

Personal Description:
Hello my name is Louis and I am going into my second year at Bath university studying pure Economics. At A levels, I got A*'s in French, Economics and Geography as well as an A in maths. I am fluent in French and could also teach spanish up to the GCSE level if need be.
Teaching Experience:
I have tutored on and off independently for about 5 years now.
I have also volunteered as a TA as a local primary school.
Tutoring Approach:
I try to cater to what the student is looking for, making lessons engaging and focusing on them being proactive during the lesson rather than me talking the whole time.
