In our sessions I will help with essay structure, illustrate how to use higher order analytical and evaluation skills, and crucially, how to apply an answer to information in a case study, or how to bring in real world examples.

Over the years I have taught an increasing proportion of students online, so that currently about 90% of my tutoring is done this way. I use Skype/Google Meet/Zoom and Google Docs, which students can also access. "Matt only got an E grade in his February A2 mock exam and the school predicted he would get a C grade at A2. With the significant assistance from Ian, Matt achieved an A* at A2. Matt was initially very apprehensive about being taught on Skype rather than in person. But Skype proved really beneficial. My own method of succeeding in exams was centred around deconstructing past papers at the very beginning of the learning process. This method holds strong across A Level and University exams - having refined this process over the past 5 years, we will build our strategy around what the examiner is looking for, cementing theory by using a wide range of my personal bank of exam-style questions from the very start.

Teaching Experience:
I am an experienced Undergraduate and A-Level tutor specialising in economics and finance. I have helped over 50 students students from Oxbridge, LSE, Warwick, UCL, Nottingham, Kings, Bayes Business School and more to gain 2:1 or First Class marks across their modules.

I also have extensive experience in technical/competency preparation and interview/assessment centre preparation for Investment Banking/Management Consultancy, with several students securing a role at a Bulge Bracket or Big 3 Management Consultancy firm.

Tutoring Approach:
With a background in cognitive development, having run several courses at schools including Haberdashers Aske's Boys' School, Merchant Taylors School and Avanti House School, we will use a range of techniques outside our lessons to promote effective learning. Interspersing our learning with tools such as Active Recall, Chain of Reasoning, Teach to Learn and Interleaving will build a strong foundation to make you a more effective learner across all your subject areas.

Teaching is my passion and I am attached to this noble profession since 2010. I engaged myself with students of undergraduate and postgraduate in a manner where they can learn theoretical as well as practical application of the subject. Now a days I am in Nottingham and doing PhD in Economics. Beside teaching in Nottingham Trent University, I have some time in which I want to involve myself in teaching online or home tuition.
I can teach courses related to Economics, Business and Statistics including theoretical and quantitative courses upto Masters level.

I have been teaching since 2010 in different international educational institutes. I worked as lecturer in one of the highly reputed International university in Pakistan for 7 years. Later on I moved to Oman and joined a post graduate college as lecturer. Now a days I am lecturing in Nottingham Trent University.

I am a friendly and outgoing tutor. I have studied at Wilson's School and I have a variety of interests. Teaching has always been my passion and I enjoy interacting with young students.

Teaching Experience:
I initially started teaching students at my local library. Finding it a very rewarding experience, I continued this passion by teaching 11+ and GCSE students. I have now added several A Level students as well to my lessons.

I have taught 11+ students on a regular basis. I have also conducted many intensive courses for 11+ Maths and English in July/August in order to help them gain momentum for the 11+ entrance exams.

I have helped several GCSE and students achieve their target grades and have enjoyed seeing them gain confidence with every lesson.

Tutoring Approach:
I believe in connecting with my students in a way that they gain confidence and clear insight in their subject. I follow a clear structure in my lessons in order to cover all relevant topics that they need help in, teaching them not just the theory but also the exam technique to help them achieve the highest marks possible. I share tricks and learning devices with them in order to make memorising/revising a more efficient experience. I set regular homework, including solving past papers.

I focus on helping my students achieve excellence in their subjects by helping them aim higher. I firmly believe that every student has the capability within to attain success. My goal is to help them in this process and make the journey as enjoyable and stress-free as possible.
