I will always begin by discussing my tutee's individual requirements and areas of the syllabus they would like to focus on. Students may ask to recap concepts and theories that aren't fully understood, however in my experience most require help with exam technique, and how to translate their knowledge into a high grade answer. I therefore place a great emphasis on guiding students through the process of answering past paper questions, across all topic areas. In our sessions I will help with essay structure, illustrate how to use higher order analytical and evaluation skills, and crucially, how to apply an answer to information in a case study, or how to bring in real world examples.

Over the years I have taught an increasing proportion of students online, so that currently about 90% of my tutoring is done this way. I use Skype/Google Meet/Zoom and Google Docs, which students can also access. This makes the sessions as interactive as meeting face to face, and it also means I can tutor students from anywhere in the world (I have taught people in South Africa, China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Spain, France, Serbia, Russia, Montenegro and Bermuda). "Matt only got an E grade in his February A2 mock exam and the school predicted he would get a C grade at A2. With the significant assistance from Ian, Matt achieved an A* at A2. When students have specialist teacher(s) at school, college or university the usual way of progressing is for them to work on one or substantial pieces of work. I am a committed, PGCE trained teacher with QTLS who hopes to build on the experience that I have gained through my PGCE and my teaching experience in FE colleges and 6th form schools so far by gaining employment in a new role as a GCSE & A Level Business Studies online tutor, and Homework help. Teaching Experience:
I am a full qualified Business Studies teacher, and I have taught GCSE and A Level Business, Finance, and Accounting in 6th form Schools and colleges in London for 8 years. I have also experience in teaching GCSE Economics as well as BTEC Business (New Syllabus) I have a great passion to teach and I have a very good track record of my previous students who achieved good results. I also have worked with special needs students with different learning disabilities including Autism, Dyslexia, and ADHD.

Tutoring Approach:
My approach to Tutoring is one on one, each student is unique, with different learning abilities, and prefer different learning styles. There is no one size fits all lesson. One on one is beneficial to students, as a tutor I will have to continually assess each one academically and tailor my lessons to their particular needs. This way each child is able to achieve their full potential.

Small groups tutoring does work in certain situations where students are friends and prefer to learn together as they motivate and learn form each other especially in times of revision. My approach to tutoring will mostly depends on the individual's needs.

Hi, I'm Yash and I'm in my 1st year of University studying economics at the University of Nottingham. I have recently completed my A-levels achieving A*AA in Maths, Economics and Chemistry respectively from the Skinners' School. I have a passion for teaching and am particularly familiar with current GCSE and A-Level content and concepts, as I myself have recently studied these specifications in depth.

I am extremely flexible in my teaching style as I realize it is important to adapt my methods to the needs of my students.
