I have a dual background in Electrical Engineering and Psychology and retired in 2007 after 20 years as a University lecturer. At different stages in my career I have taught telecommunications engineering, computer programming, software engineering, artificial intelligence and psychology. For relaxation I listen to jazz and blues.

Teaching Experience:
I have been tutoring students since March 2008 and am able to offer maths, physics and ICT from primary up to 'A' level, and general science (biology, chemistry, and physics) up to GCSE level. I have taught GCE A-level Maths, Further Maths and Physics with a number of students who have obtained places at Oxbridge/ Russell Group Universities to study Engineering, Maths, Medicine and Economics. A number of my tutees have been following courses in IGCSE Maths or Science or the IB in Maths or Physics. Programming and software development is both a hobby and a career for me, and I'd to share some of the knowledge I've built up over the years.

I have a Computer Science BSc (Hons.) first class degree from Royal Holloway University of London, graduating in 2017. Since then, I have worked full-time in the software industry, with a focus on programming and full stack development. I have experience in every aspect of programming and software, from gathering requirements from customers and architecting software solutions, to deploying databases and secure applications to the cloud. I can pick up and help you with just about anything, however my speciality is with C#/Java, Javascript/Typescript, HTML, CSS, SQL and NoSQL databases, UI design and implementation. Furthermore, I have hobby-level experience with game development, primarily with Unity.
