With the theory, I often look through past papers with the student to establish common questions and work to get the most succinct and correct answer. I have 15 years of experience teaching Computer Science at degree level, and for younger learners. I also run a national programming contest (called UKIEPC) to encourage young people to learn programming.

I encourage learners to engage with free programming challenge websites and professional platforms like github, that help to create a private online profile that can be made public and used in a CV for university and job applications.
