I am a graduate in Physics with Astrophysics, which was a four year degree, which included me living and learning in Italy. My degree was challenging yet enjoyable, and contained a lot of Maths, which to me was great! As a born communicator writing and teaching have always appealed, and having spent the last decade tutoring and working for the Institute of Physics, I can definitely say I enjoy it as much now as I did when I started.. I usually start with the current topics that student is studying in the school and explain to the student that topic and related background knowledge. As I teach one to one, my pace is faster than school and we usually finish the topic in one or sometimes two classes. And then we do previous topics and I explain doubts on those topics. I am an experienced and passionate Maths and Science Tutor with extensive teaching experience across all three sciences - Biology, Chemistry, and Physics - including Combined Science at both GCSE and A-Level. Over the years, I have successfully taught students from a wide range of academic backgrounds and abilities, helping them build confidence, strengthen their scientific understanding, and achieve excellent examination results.

I am fully familiar with all major UK exam boards, including AQA, Edexcel, and OCR, which allows me to tailor lessons specifically to the requirements, assessment styles, and mark schemes of each specification. My teaching approach combines strong subject knowledge with exam-focused techniques, ensuring students not only understand the content but also know how to apply their knowledge effectively in examinations.

I have a strong track record of student achievement, with many students improving by at least two grades after working with me. One of my most rewarding success stories involved students who were initially predicted grades 3-3 in Combined Science and went on to achieve grades 7-6 in their final GCSE examinations.
Over the years, my A level students have progressed into fields such as Medicine, Dentistry, Mechanical Engineering, and Psychology.
