I have been tutoring privately for 20 years and have seen my students grow in confidence, understanding and knowledge of their chosen topics. And then I teach them using the method appropriate to their style of learning. I also set plenty of work and get them to do past papers which I send to them in the first week. I then take these away and mark them in my own time and return with a deeper view of where they are going wrong after they have been taught.
