An initial meeting establishes the student's needs and the direction tuition should take. My approach is to identify the students need whether that's understanding the content fully or being able to apply their knowledge to exam questions. Or indeed whether the student needs to practise structuring their writing to more clearly align with the mark schemes from the examiner. In addition some students need support organising themselves and planning their revision. I believe it should complement and enhance their school work in a positive way. Ideally students should use the sessions to enable them to become more independent in their learning rather than tutoring for perpetuity.

I have 15 years of teaching different Business subjects, I am also a CELTA Cambridge teacher.

I am an enthusiastic and supportive Business Studies tutor with a strong passion for helping students grow in confidence and achieve their academic goals. I hold a BSc in Management with Marketing, and I am currently completing my PGCE in Business Studies, which is allowing me to deepen both my subject knowledge and my teaching practice.

While my formal teaching experience is still developing, I have worked with children and young people in school settings, supporting lessons, helping with group work, and assisting students who need extra guidance.
