An initial meeting establishes the student's needs and the direction tuition should take. I use Kolbs learning cycle as a benchmark for my training/teaching. It also involves the motivation, interest and the curiosity of the learner, who may need stimulation, encouragement and to find leaning is fun and fascinating.
