I have been tutoring privately for 20 years and have seen my students grow in confidence, understanding and knowledge of their chosen topics. I approach tutoring different ways depending on who the student is. I ask them questions about themselves, hobbies, favourite subjects etc; and then using that to better understand how they learn, I talk to them about their private learning and revision and the method of approach to that and to exams. And then I teach them using the method appropriate to their style of learning. I also set plenty of work and get them to do past papers which I send to them in the first week. I then take these away and mark them in my own time and return with a deeper view of where they are going wrong after they have been taught. I have been the Head of Accounting since 2006, at a large Catholic Sixth Form College in Hulme, Manchester. I am 46 years old, living in Didsbury, South Manchester. I have a BA (Hons) degree in Business Studies, a Higher National Diploma in Business & Finance as well as a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in Business Education, which allows me to teach Business in Secondary as well as a Further Education teaching qualification.
I hold a current DBS.

I have achieved a Distinction/First Class grade at level 7/Postgraduate Certificate which I completed part-time. This grade was achieved as I employed effective study strategies; which I can deliver to those requiring study support.

I have over 15 years experience teaching Business in schools and colleges in the Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham and Walsall area. I teach GCSE, A Level, BTEC levels 2 and 3 in Business. Personal Description:
Teaching is my passion and I am attached to this noble profession since 2010. I engaged myself with students of undergraduate and postgraduate in a manner where they can learn theoretical as well as practical application of the subject. Now a days I am in Nottingham and doing PhD in Economics. Beside teaching in Nottingham Trent University, I have some time in which I want to involve myself in teaching online or home tuition.
I can teach courses related to Economics, Business and Statistics including theoretical and quantitative courses upto Masters level.
I can assist in projects, thesis writing, mathematical and econometric modeling , Business math, business statistics , game theoryand in research writing.

Teaching Experience:
I have been teaching since 2010 in different international educational institutes. I worked as lecturer in one of the highly reputed International university in Pakistan for 7 years. Later on I moved to Oman and joined a post graduate college as lecturer. Now a days I am lecturing in Nottingham Trent University.

Tutoring Approach:
I prefer to provide a friendly approach to my students so that they feel comfortable to ask questions. Working in friendly environment with student can provide them opportunity to overcome the areas or subject where they are lacking behind.

Personal Description:
I am a fully qualified and experienced teacher of 19 years, and I also examine for the Edexcel exam board. I receive excellent feedback in helping students to achieve above their target grades. Prior to teaching, I worked in business insolvency, and have had a good insight into global business having also worked in North Carolina, US.

I recently left the classroom to become a full-time tutor and travel the world!

My interests are USA road tripping, reading, writing, podcasts (ask me for business recommendations!) playing badminton, cooking, watching football and NFL, live music, and I love new experiences. I'm currently learning Spanish and trying to improve my French. I also have BSL Level 1.

Teaching Experience:
I taught in 2 outstanding sixth form colleges and received excellent results throughout my teaching career.

I specialise in examining for Edexcel A-Level Business Paper 1 (9BS01) and Paper 3 (9BS03), and I participate in annual standardisation, and in-depth training. This insider experience allows me to gain the most up-to-date and relevant understanding of the marking process.
