After completing my D.Phil from the University of Oxford, I worked for 7 years as a Senior Biologist for a small drug discovery company where I was responsible for screening new drug targets in tissue models for human disease. Over the years I've had so many comments from students/colleagues about my ability to break subjects down to ease understanding, and coupled with my passion for science and sharing that with others I decided to change career and become a full-time science tutor. I'm currently studying Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of Manchester. Have a huge passion for Mathematics and Physics. In my GCSEs I achieved 4A*'s in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology, as well as an A in A-level Mathematics.

Teaching Experience:
Did a huge amount of voluntary work helping teach secondary school students during my A-level years and I am currently tutoring students Maths and Physics.

Tutoring Approach:
I use a more fundamental approach wherein a student can come to me with any questions or topics that they found hard during class. Lessons are then tailored to each student depending on what needs work.

A second year medic at the University of Edinburgh. I graduated with 44/45 in the IB.

I did not get where I am today by myself. I had help - friends, family, and teachers. I know how much impact a teacher can have, and I just want to help where I can.

Prior to Uni, I spent 2 years in the Army developing ,training and leading frontline soldiers. I have seen people from all walks of life and am committed to developing and teaching my students as well.

Teaching Experience:
Prior to Uni, I tutored final year IB students for a year. Prior to that, I did not have any formal teaching assignments, only teaching friends or some of my soldiers when I was serving. Despite that, I have been coaching for most of my life. Since I was 15 I have been mentoring my juniors in my extra curriculars at school, so I am well versed when it comes to different methods of mentoring.

Tutoring Approach:
I enjoy getting to know my students beyond their academic needs; building a connection and seeing that they are supported in any way that I can.

I also believe in understanding rather than memorizing, so I teach my students skills that will help them approach problems logically instead of just memorizing the textbook.
