I'm a qualified working teacher as well as an examiner for both Chemistry and Biology. Furthermore, I'm Head of Maths and Science at Hackney Community College in Shoreditch. I live in Stockwell Park about 5 minutes walk from the tube. With regard to be a tutor/teacher, I describe myself as approachable, patient and outgoing person. Furthermore, I'm highly reliable and a well resourced. I have extensive experience in both private and state teaching. The key is for them to understand the topic by linking to something which they previously now. This creates a connection in their brain to help them remember and understand the concept long-term. Finally, I always listen to the client and exactly what they require so I can adapt my approach.

A bit of background about me: I completed my degree in chemistry in 1993 and began my PhD in physical chemistry the following year. Following completion of my PhD I continued to work in academic research in physical and materials chemistry until 2002 when I changed career to work in industry. I initially started off as a chemist in an analytical laboratory before working my way into senior management in the automotive, chemical and oil industries. My areas of industrial expertise also cover quality, environmental and health and safety auditing and management. I then moved into full time education and teaching in 2012 where I found my true vocation.

I found Ahmad very helpful for exam question practice, which is the main thing he focuses on rather than explaining content, unless you get a question wrong because you don't know the information. He keeps track of which questions you get wrong and then recaps them at the beginning of the next lesson until you get full marks on it, which I found really helpful.
