Being the oldest sibling of my family and the first to attend university, I started teaching from a young age. I love working with students of all ages and abilities, and am intrigued by how I can use various learning styles: visual learning, auditory learning, read/write learning, and kinaesthetic learning to best impart knowledge. I am currently a graduate student in Psychiatry at the University of Oxford. As a curious and driven learner, I am eager to teach what I have learned, as well as learn from those I teach.

I am currently Head of Science at a large co-educational boarding school near Coventry. My subject specialism is Biology and I have taught A level, GCSE, Pre-U and IB Biology (HL and SL) full time for over thirty years in four leading independent schools. in the UK I have been Head of Biology departments in two of these schools, designing curricula and evaluating student outcomes.

Throughout my career in schools I have enjoyed tutoring a small number of students each year, normally just one or two per academic year and in recent years, I have worked with several GCSE, A level and IB students usually for the two years leading up to their final exams.
