I am a well qualified and experienced Primary School and EFL teacher. I have a wide range of experience in teaching students from the age of 5 through to adults. I graduated from Warwick University with a degree in Ancient History and Archaeology followed by a Primary School PGCE from the University of Roehampton and a Masters in Education from the University of Bath.

I am able to build strong relationships with my tutees in order to raise their confidence and attainment levels. I ensure that my lessons are interactive, enjoyable and meaningful to allow students to reach their potential whilst having fun.

I currently Subject Lead in Art and Design in a secondary school in Bishops Stortford and have a first class honours degree in Illustration and extensive skills in digital media including web design, image manipulation and design for print. Particular strengths of mine are life drawing and painting. I also have skills in textiles, quilt making, sewing and other crafts. I often like to introduce my students to new ways of working by combining media in creative ways. I have a PGCE in Secondary Art and Design as well as an MA in Art and Design in Education. A graduate from Amiens University with a BA in English Literature & Civilization, I also studied Fashion Design & Illustration in the international Paris American Academy.

I trained and worked in London for several years, before moving to N.Ireland.
In search of calm and beauty, we now live near peaceful meadows, a mere 5 minutes drive from Banbridge, a 20 minute drive from Newry and 40 minutes from Belfast.

Teaching Experience:

Alongside school, I continued with my Home Tuition Practice and I now exclusively teach privately. From GCSE, A-Level or University Students, I strive to cover all aspects of the curriculum.

Ben was educated in Guildford and specialised in the expressive arts. During these years, his creative flare became more apparent.

Ben progressed onto doing a Foundation Degree in Action Photography at Truro College where he specialised in sports Extreme Sports, Natural History, Social Documentary and Events Photography following this he began to prepare for a more commercial direction. Ben still maintained his roots in expressive art during the foundation degree but also developed his technical skills thoroughly, and this has been commented on though out his professional and teaching life.

In 2009, he progressed on to Plymouth University to study for his BA Honours in Photography where he achieved a (2.1) During this course, he spent time intricately studying the history of art and photography, and Ben spent many hours mastering skills in studio large and medium format photography. He concluded the year specialising in colour film, Medium format studio photography and focusing mainly on portraiture, with a project called 'The Paradox of Perfect Beauty'.

This study challenges the ideologies of what is defined as beauty throughout art history, sculpture, and figurative representation. It critically analyses the standardised figures and body shape used in art as well as in modern-day commercial advertising, fashion and other types of portraiture.

Ben worked for 3.5 years at an Apple APR shop in Guildford so has a very in-depth knowledge of Apple technology and software and during this time taught people of all ages to use Apple computer something he still tutors to this day in.

I prefer to teach over a 2-hour basis, and this allows for focused study and practical time of guided activity further to this I will travel for a lesson but ask that travel expenses are paid.
Lastly, due to previous experiences, I ask that 50% of the total job is paid upfront as a non refundable deposits on acceptance of the agreed package. I ask this due to the fact I have to pay the tutoring site based on the agreed amount a fee.

I like for my students to discover the answer themselves as this embeds the knowledge and allows them to master their subject. Welcome, artist friend! I am Calina and I have been studying art since 1986. I have created the way in this field for more than 35 years. Currently I live and create at my studio in Lower Earley (Reading). I love and I am pleased to expanding the field of Abstract Expressionism. I use simplified shapes with small details in the descriptive scenes.
A big part of my inspiration comes from the natural surroundings and through my travels. The main topic that I approach it is landscape, in all moods and mysteries. Through my art I would like to share with you different states of nature.The composition is balanced by the characters you always find in nature: different species of trees, wild animals and their world. The diversity of materials that I use helps me to create in the smallest details, impressions created about the natural world and our experiences with it.
My works can be found in numerous private and corporate collections throughout the United Kingdom and internationally. I can't imagine a single day without the colours, brushes and canvases.

I have a CIty and Guilds 7307 Qualification in educating adults. I am, these days, a comic book colourist, working primarily for 2000AD comic. I am strong on drawing (techniques), painting in acrylics, and could teahc Photoshop skills.

Teaching Experience:
I taught Graphic Design for several years at Leicester College, and also taught comic book art and life drawing at Staffordshire University for around four years. I still sometimes guest lecture on the Cartoon and Comic Arts BA (Hons) course. I can provide my full C.V.

One to one tuition would be good for me - weither at the student's residence, or remotely via Zoom. I cannot hav estudents in my home.

I'm a lecturer at University of the Arts London with extensive experience supporting students aged 14-20 in building strong, distinctive portfolios for Foundation and BA-level applications.

I specialise in helping students:

Prepare for applications to UAL and other leading art institutions

My approach is structured but flexible, supporting each student's individual interests, confidence, and way of working.

Over the years, I've worked with many students progressing into Foundation courses and beyond, often beginning with early-stage ideas and developing them into resolved, confident portfolios.
As a private mentor and tutor I work with students across the world both online and in person. My tailored lessons are devised to deliver what my students require with a primary focus on extracting each student's instinctive talents that will allow them to build a strong body of work.

My own creative practice has won multiple accolades from Arts Council England funding for my current project Interwoven: Neurodiversity and the creative mind to winner of best fashion film in the Tribeca film festival.

Teaching Experience:
I have taught fashion at Central Saint Martins for the past 13 years and educated students both in the UK and internationally for over 10 years. My private tutorials are tailored to each students requirements, skill level and age group. I can teach you how to create unique fashion illustrations, how to build a fashion project, a fashion portfolio, how to design and build a fashion collection and how to develop your ideas into a garment. Personal Description:
As a youngster I always enjoyed art and sold my first paintings in my early teens. I then trained and studied the history of art at Maidstone College of Art and at The University of Wales.

After a career in graphic design & communications I re-started my career as an artist in 2014. I have been a member of various art groups for several years and I have been fortunate to win awards at local art exhibitions.

I paint landscapes and figurative subjects in a suggestive and vibrant style, and draw inspiration from mood and atmosphere in the world around me. I exhibit and sell locally and my work is gaining in popularity in local galleries. I also run workshops.

I am inspired by my contemporaries who push the boundaries of their respective media. I am also often reminded of my early successes and the artists who inspired me as a student. My goals are to find new surprises by combining persistence with experimentation and 'happy accident'.

Teaching Experience:
I have been running weekly adult acrylic painting mini-workshops since February 2022. These have proved popular with beginners and experienced painters alike. I have also given one-to-one private tuition to several adult students.

Tutoring Approach:
My emphasis is on discovering and learning and breaking down barriers in a relaxed and friendly environment. Painting should be fun, and limitation of technical skill should not be a barrier to expression. I encourage experimentation and offer guidance. I am not a 'paint like me' tutor, but rather, I want to help you recognise 'you' in your work. I have many years experience in many varied arenas, from fine art, graphics, photographic and digital art. The fundamentals of good draftsmanship, composition and colour are at the basis of all good art, and I will always try to help my students establish a strong foundation in these areas.

I have a life long passion for art, painting and making.

I have been teaching art privately for over 10 years and established a small art school: Art Now - Banstead Art School which I have been running for 9 years in Surrey near London.

I have taught people of all ages (from 3 to 92!) and all abilities from beginners to assisting students to gain successful scholarship portfolios and coursework.

I have also facilitated many creative workshops such as theatrical life drawing and craft in different settings from schools to offices, public spaces and festivals.

Karina studied Art and Design at Chelsea Art College and has a BA Honours degree in Graphic Design and Photography from Kingston Univeristy.

After graduating, Karina co-ran creative, interactive public events for adults and children in London and Essex including monthly theatrical life drawing classes.

Karina has experience teaching and mentoring children of all ages including children with Special Educational Needs in school and out of school environments. Karina has an enhanced DBS certificate.

Karina has since also trained in Permaculture design, Catalysing Active Citizenship, Creative Practice Facilitation and completed the Forest School Level 3 training.
She works in schools and runs nature connection workshops for adults.

My name is Irina but in the artist's world, I am known as an artist Irisha.
I have been drawing and painting professionally for 14 years. Most of the time I am creating my paintings with pastels and throughout my carrier as an artist, I learned quite a lot about this medium and how to use it to achieve the desired results. I also work with oils. But my private lessons will be concentrated on creating pastel artworks.
I am specializing in pet portraits but I also have done quite a lot of people's portraits and landscapes.

Teaching Experience:
I have a University degree in teaching and in the past I had a good experience in private tutoring on general subjects. Throughout my art carrier, I had private art classes occasionally but I didn't have much time to take it to the bigger scale.
Now that I have got my own studio and a big bag of knowledge as well as more time I am happy to share my experience!

Tutoring Approach:
I will base my lessons according to your experience and wishes. During my tutoring time, I will provide you with a 45 min of knowledge and experience about pastels. We will learn about this medium and will experiment with different styles, I will share with you all the useful tips I learned from my own experience. You will learn how to professionally paint portraits with pastels whether it is a pet portrait, a people's portrait or a landscape. If you would like to paint the portrait of your own subject I am happy to use your photo as a reference, otherwise, I will provide you with a selection of topics/subjects which will help you to become more advanced and confident in working with pastels. For the first two lessons, I will provide you with all the professional art materials you need and then if you would like to carry on with your lessons I would give you a list of necessary items to get.
