I can play the piano, so sometimes I like teaching them Chinese songs in my lesson. and I also teach them Chinese traditional culture as " paper-cut" which is to improve my lesson more interesting.

Hi, I have always had a love for languages and would love to instil you with the same enthusiasm. After having lived abroad as part of my degree, I then graduated with a BA Hons Degree Class 2.1 in Modern Languages (German, French and Italian), after which I obtained my Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE). After teaching, I also worked for International companies, using my languages extensively by liaising with customers and colleagues overseas and also translating and interpreting. I have always kept my languages fresh by reading foreign literature and keeping in touch with German / French friends. I am mother to 4 children, but even after my children were born, I continued to do some freelance translation. As a mother and as a teacher, I know the importance of patience and how important it is to make learning worthwhile, enjoyable and fun!

I am a graduate in Mathematical Economics from the University of Birmingham. My original career was as a Chartered Management Accountant but I always had the ambition to move into teaching. I have been tutoring children one-to-one since 2012. I also run a maths and English training centre for 3 to 14 year olds. I was a governor in a primary and then a grammar school for many years before entering the teaching profession. I was on the GTP training course for Secondary Mathematics at London South Bank University before deciding to go down the tutoring route. I have a real passion for teaching and I worked as Teaching Assistant for children with special needs here in the UK.

I am John, an English graduate who has several years experience in one-to-one and small group tuition. I enable my students to make the connections they need to find in order to achieve successful exam results. A teacher with a degree in Photographic arts. Passionate and knowledgeable about digital and analogue photography, with the ability to teach post-production editing in Photoshop. I also do photography for my own enjoyment, specifically looking at landscape and architectural photography. I have freelanced previously as a wedding photographer but that life was just not for me as I much prefer teaching the subject as a career! I am very friendly and supportive of all my tutees and their parents.

Teaching Experience:
I am currently teaching at a private school, teaching A-Level and GCSE Photography and KS3 Art. I have worked with AQA and Edexcel and I am up to date on my standardisation procedures for Edexcel examing board, most recently having been on a training course in November 2023.
