I am full time engineer working in Victoria, after achieving a degree in Civil Engineering in Imperial College, London. At 8, I studied at DCPS, then moving to St Pauls at 13+ (common entrance). Coming from this background, I understand the pressures of succeeding at all levels.

I have had 7 years experience, privately tutoring children between the ages of 11 to 19. I am an experienced teacher of RE at secondary level, being Head of RE and SMSC at a local non selective school. As such I am well used to teaching and supporting students of all abilities and with all kinds of needs and baggage.

self-taught in Spanish since age 10. I come from a family with a
long tradition in teaching and have always been encouraged to study

Tutoring Approach:
Although I learned all my foreign languages through a rigorous method very much based on writing and grammar, I am happy to adapt my method to my pupil's needs. Personally, I believe that conversation is the key to becoming fluent in a language, but at the same time I do not neglect the importance of writing and reading comprehension. I therefore aim to split my lessons as evenly as possible between speaking, reading, listening comprehension, and writing assignments.
