Hello. I am a fully qualified teacher with experience across the whole of the primary curriculum, including special needs and teaching for SATS tests . I continually update my teaching, mainly through the National Education Union online training sessions. I have had great results tutoring children extensively on a 1-2-1 basis for SATS and the 11+ entrance exam, plus have experience teaching adult literacy and English as a Foreign Language. I aim to motivate both children and adults who find reading and writing challenging, building both confidence and skills. Practical strategies and numeracy games are used to assist children to gain improved competence in mathematics. I have studied PGCE Mandarin at a university in the Uk and obtained a qualified teacher certificate. I am teaching Mandarin at a school in the south of England. All of my students like my teaching because not only can they learn mandarin listening, speaking, reading and writing, but they also enjoy learning about the different Chinese cultures as well as taking part in many activities at the same time. All of my GCSE year students have achieved A* grade GCSE Mandarin. I am a mandarin native speaker and I used to be a compere on the stage in China. Hello! I'm a native Russian speaker from Kaliningrad who has been living in the UK since 1996 - now calling Yorkshire home for even longer than Russia. My life is truly shared between both cultures, and I am passionate about teaching and celebrating both the Russian and English languages.

I studied Japanese at Tokyo University of Foreign Studies and got my undergraduate and graduate degrees in Japan. Having spent 7 years living in Japan, I have level 1 (N1) of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT).  I also have skills in traditional Japanese arts, such as tea ceremony and calligraphy. I am Maths Teacher and tutor located in Dorking Surrey with over 25 years of teaching experience currently working full time in an award wining secondary school in Surrey. Prior to my current position I taught Maths GCSE and A-level at a leading independent school in Greater London for over 10 years. I have also tutored for over 20 years. I really enjoy helping students learn and see the rapid increase in progress and confidence that can be achieved from one-to-one tuition.

As a current teacher, crucially, I am familiar with all the changes to the syllabus for both GCSE and A-level and have the relevant materials to assist. The content has increased for both as has the type of questions. I have taught secondary Mathematics throughout my career in both state an independent schools - teaching both GCSE and IGCSE Mathematics and the AQA Certificate in Further Maths and A level Maths.
