Following a Master's degree in Engineering (M.Eng) from Imperial College London in the late 1980's, I have over 30 years senior management experience in the financial services sector (investment management and private equity) at CEO, CIO, COO level, having worked for many of the world's leading investment banks and asset management firms. I am widely travelled, articulate and have been described as charismatic and engaging with a good sense of humour. I come from a family that is passionate about sport and I have also served as Trustee of a well-known children's charity.

I have selectively tutored children and young adults on a 1:1 basis both face-to-face and more recently via Zoom/Teams/Skype in Mathematics and Science. I still own and serve as a director of a financial services company and I am therefore only able to tutor a small number of students in any given academic year. During my career I have successfully tutored many students one-to-one alongside teaching in schools. I am now working as a full-time tutor.
