Teaching Experience:
I have been particularly successful helping students to improve their GCSE grade, helping students improve on their mock result. I am fully upto date with the latest syllabus requirements.

Tutoring Approach:
I concentrate on working with the student's perceived weaknesses and on common exam mistakes. In the case of GCSE and A levels it is often the student who leads and asks for help with specific issues. Additionally, I always revise the main elements of the syllabus and give the student plenty of practice with examples of written work.

A recent University of Leeds graduate with a 2:1 class BSc (Hons) in Economics and Mathematics (Industrial) who is currently teaching in a secondary school in Birmingham. I have a years experience as a Maths teacher within a secondary school in Birmingham. I studied Japanese at Tokyo University of Foreign Studies and got my undergraduate and graduate degrees in Japan. Having spent 7 years living in Japan, I have level 1 (N1) of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT).  I also have skills in traditional Japanese arts, such as tea ceremony and calligraphy. I want to share my passion for the Japanese language with everybody, from complete beginners to students going to Japan in the near future.
