I have a background in senior industrial and commercial management, both in the UK and overseas; also senior experience in the public sector (local government and NHS). I took time out in my thirties to gain my PGCE.

I have never taught full-time (although I was once up to around two-thirds of a full timetable). I have worked in further education colleges and as a supply-teacher, mostly in secondary. I was born and raised in Greece and I lived for eight years in Germany before moving to the UK, where I've been based since 2010. My subject expertise is evident in my PhD qualification which I gained in 2019.
