My preference is for committed students who will practice and implement what is learnt outside of lessons. I typically set students exercises for completion before the next lesson in addition to revision work for practice essay questions. I am a qualified teacher of Psychology and Sociology based in York. I have over 20 years experience of teaching, I am a senior examiner for a major exam board, as well as having lead successful departments of both Psychology and Sociology.

I achieved First Class Honours in BSc Mathematics at Durham University, and I recently completed a postgraduate secondary Mathematics education course at Newcastle University, which involved teaching many classes across two secondary schools.
