I am over 60 years old, live in Kent with my wife and 2 children. My daughter is 30, she wis working as a doctor. My son is 27working as specialist in embedded system, completed Physics degree at the Imperial college.

I have a PGCE, MSc and a PhD in Maths and Science, I am a full member of GTC.

I have been teaching Maths and Physics over 35 years. I first taught at a school for 7 years, then at a teachers' college, polytechnic and finally at a university.

I studied English Literature at Edinburgh University, graduating with a First Class Masters in 1999, before going on to train as an actor at the prestigious London Academy of Dramatic Art (LAMDA) in 2001. Since graduating, I have worked extensively as an actor in theatre, television and radio and since 2007 I have worked very closely with acclaimed theatre company The Factory as an associate producer and director as well as an actor. I have a wide-ranging interest in the arts (from contemporary music through to cinema and the visual arts) as well as an active interest in politics and current affairs. I have worked as a free-lance tutor since 2005 and love not only the obvious flexibility it affords but, far more importantly, the mental, creative and social stimulation it provides both me and, hopefully, those I teach.

In 2005 I registered with a private agency and taught English Literature as a freelance tutor at GCSE level for them that year.
I have wide and extensive experience teaching and creating drama with young people: I have worked on schools and youth projects with Shakespeare's Globe, the National Student Drama Festival and the Carney Academy of Performing Arts as well providing private tuition for drama school entrance and audition technique.

I passionately believe that education needs to be grounded in passing on, developing and deepening the love of a subject and that, as such, learning shouldn't be results led. I also believe that people are different and that an approach to tutoring and education should reflect that.

I graduated from UCL-IOE with a master's degree in TESOL education. Before coming to the UK, I worked as an English teacher in a middle school in China. After graduating with a master's degree, I decided to stay in the UK for development. Hi, my name is Iman. I am Egyptian and a native Arabic speaker with 16 years of experience in teaching Arabic. I teach both Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) and Egyptian dialect, and I also have experience in setting and marking exams for both.
I tailor my lessons according to the students' needs so that they can get the best results.
Usually, I begin my teaching by assessing the students and discussing their objectives. From there, I discuss with them my tailored course plan.

I believe that teaching language and culture are inseparable.
