I am an experienced Lecturer in English Language and English Literature including the new specifications. I have been an examiner for OCR 'A' level English and AQA 'A' Level English for many years and have also moderated GCSE English examination papers. I tutor at all levels, from basic literacy, through to dissertations for under graduates including subjects not associated with the subject of English. I run a Creative Writing class and assist people to write novels and poetry and a variety of other genres. Teaching Experience:
I have lectured English at both 'A' level and GCSE levels at a further education college. I teach a Creative Writing class, assisting people to write novels, poetry and a variety of other genres. I am a professional accountant with PTLLS Level 4 teaching qualification, and I deliver excellent, high quality teaching with tremendous motivational effect, and all my students have loved and praised my teaching methods and style. I supported a young student who was studying for BA Business Accounting at the university by tutoring her in the Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Financial Analysis and Corporate Finance subjects. As a result, she achieved a 2:1 Grade. It is pertinent to note that the young student did not have any prior knowledge in Accounting. She took A Level Drama, but changed to do Accounting at the university, which makes her achievement much more remarkable.

In my current role as an Accounts Lecturer, I have adopted a methodical approach to my teaching. The preparation and use of scheme of work, session planning, syllabuses, timetable, lesson notes and handouts helps me in presenting my lessons in an organised and logical manner, and ensuring that the syllabuses are fully covered. I am confident and positive in my teaching and able to build confidence in the students themselves, which helps in achieving the learning objectives set for each lesson and thereby achieving the overall objectives of the course. I adopt a mixture of pedagogical and andragogical approach to my teaching. I first try to examine the student and get a sense of what their strengths and weaknesses are in a particular subject or ask them what they are struggling with in school. Then I tried to get as many resources and lessons to be able to teach them in a way and explain in a way that they can understand using diagrams pictures and any other resources. Finally I think this is the most crucial part of learning is practice questions whether it be the entrance exams or subjects I will give them past paper questions for them to work on.

I am an active artist with decades of experience and a studio in the Southeast London area.
Classically educated to Masters level and able to utilise different mediums and techniques to produce paintings, sculptures or models.
I specialise in oil on canvas and have a style described as a mixture of Monet and Constable.
I also possess my own DIY handmade roto casting machine for producing plaster and resin models.

Painting has always been my favourite medium. Still-life, landscapes, portraits, anything. However, I have an affinity towards boats, animals, wildlife, and nature in general.
