I have been tutoring for four years and I have a lot of experience supporting students in improving their Film Studies grades by 2-4 grades. I studied Film at university and I have an insatiable passion for Film and an unquenchable thirst for learning. Currently, I am an English language tutor, an assistant at an arts festival, developing a YouTube series and training to become a karate instructor. I believe Film is the most influential tool in this generation. I plan to make the most of this potency during my career by creating films of value and meaning. Currently, I am a KS3 and GCSE English language tutor at a tutoring centre. Being bilingual, I naturally see the beauty in languages. However, this view has intensified through my experience of being an English tutor; I am much more aware of the power behind being able to articulate or express one's thoughts accurately, be it in an exam or in life. My strength in English is in dissecting the language and finding the core meaning of a text. Professional and practising international artist with over twenty years experience in the art industry in the US and the UK.
I have an active studio practice producing sculptures, illustrations, props and miniatures for various clients and supplement my income on the side with teaching when possible as I do enjoy sharing what I love. My home and studio practice is in east London but I teach at the Victoria & Albert Museum as its important to me to keep my teaching and my studio separate. I make a policy to teach from life using the traditional teaching methods and techniques of the great masters from the Italian Renaissance as this is how I was educated. I teach my students to understand and use perspective, relationships, contrasts and composition. I teach any level of art student following an initial portfolio review. This portfolio review helps me see previous drawings students have done which helps me understand how to construct our lessons in order to achieve success.

Prior to attending university, I lived in Australia for five months, volunteering in a school as a sports assistant, where my role was to assist the full time teachers and cover the primary PE classes when the teacher was not available. Further teaching has included block placements in both the early years foundation stage and lower key stage two, teaching a range of subjects that are not limited to maths and English, providing me with a range of experience across the primary school years.

I have been a qualified teacher for over a year, having worked predominantly in the Tameside region of Manchester. I grew up in Northern Italy (Piedmont), and did my University Degree in Italian Humanities, and my MA in Film Studies in Turin (Torino). In 2005 I moved to the UK, because of my fascination with the culture, music and landscape. I was an indie music nerd as a teenager and young man, with a huge passion for obscure bands. I also loved to write and sing, and got a lot of inspiration for my writing from movies and literature. I am still enthusiastic about going to the cinema, or discovering a new novel or a new (or old) band. On top of these interests, I'm passionate about language, poetry, psychology, personal development, nutrition and beautiful coastal landscapes.

Since my arrival in Bristol in 2005, I first worked as an Italian Linguist for an international corporation. After three years, I dedicated some time to focus on my music and writing, but soon I also pursued a career in Adult and Community Education, developing my teaching practice and experience and creating courses, programmes and tailored lessons for groups and individuals.
