I am 55 years old and live in Redhill, Surrey. I am able to tutor the following subjects:

I am available any day of the week, daytime as well evenings.

Before the first lesson is scheduled, I will pay to you in full for the cost of purchasing my contact details. As for the first lesson, if for whatever reason your child is unhappy with my tutoring style within the first 20 minutes, we will stop the lesson straight away and I will not ask any payment for it. This way you will not pay a penny for anything you are uncertain about.

Students are encouraged to chart their progress with my guidance by recording their assessment of specific topics throughout the year. This in turn would give them confidence leading up to their exams.

After having lived abroad as part of my degree, I then graduated with a BA Hons Degree Class 2.1 in Modern Languages (German, French and Italian), after which I obtained my Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE). After finishing my A level in Weymouth, Dorset, I then went to Essex University in Colchester to study Science. Ater getting my first degree, I then decided to do a masters Degree in Chemistry and passed. In my University days, I have always loved Maths and Science and in my first year at University, I did Physics, Chemistry and Maths. I have a very high understanding of Maths because of my passion for Maths and I have solve several problems in Maths, Physics and Chemistry up to A level. I am very passionate about numbers and anything that has numbers in it, I will solve. My chemical knowledge is absolutely unbelievable. I have been taeching Chemistry and Maths longer than A level Physics but I teach A level Physics in my current School. I'm an environmental scientist by training and I spent 16 years in the environmental chemistry sector before deciding that I wanted to teach.
I live in Little Sutton with my partner (also a teacher) and I have three children: Eleanor (19), Sarah (16) and Francis (13).

During my time in industry I was heavily involved in the training and development of staff and this led neatly to my teaching career. My name is David. I was an actor for 20 years, both as a hobbyist and a professional until becoming a writer. I still am both of those things (as well as a voice-over artist), but now would like to pass on my knowledge to other people and see if it helps them.

Until very recently, I worked in customer service for a myriad of companies--all to allow me the space and time to enjoy a career that was never fully stable. I enjoyed them, but only for the opportunity to meet new people and learn from them. True, I may be a tutor, but I will never stop being a student.

I also class as neurodivergent. For decades I lived with undiagnosed ADHD. Learning this was a surprise to many others around me, but not to me directly. The signs were not as well known back then, and somehow I had adapted to learn. These days, we adapt the teaching; so know that whatever background you have, we will find a way to learn together!
