Personal Description:
I am currently teaching at one of the top independent schools for girls in Berkshire. I hold a PhD in chemistry, which gives me sound knowledge of the subject and I have completed my teacher training at the University of Cambridge.
I am told to be an approachable person which allows me to build a very good working relationship with my students. They are never afraid of asking questions and this gives me the opportunity to identify problems and rectify them quickly.

I am a chemistry specialist and I have five years experience of teaching Edexcel IGCSE and OCR A/B A level qualifications in a high achieving school. I am also confident with the content of the AQA, OCR A/B and Edexcel GCSE and AQA and Edexcel A level specifications which I have been tutoring for many years.

Tutoring Approach:
I do not have a unique approach. All students are different and they have all different needs. I try building a relationship of trust and listen to what their needs are. Very often is the case that they lack confidence and they just need some reassurance. Chemistry is a challenging subject but most students can do very well provided they have self belief and are willing to work hard.

I have a BA in English Linguistics from the University of Malaga (Spain) and I am a fully qualified teacher based in a comprehensive secondary school, specialised in Spanish and French. For GCSE Spanish and French I focus on speaking exam practice ( role-play, picture-based and conversation questions) and writing exam practice focus on key phrases/ sophisticated vocabulary to excel the 90 and 150 words tasks.
For A level Spanish students, learn to read and analyse a literary text/film in Spanish which is challenging and rewarding. I help them get to grips with the set works and to refine their essay-writing skills for Paper 2. Loads of essay writing practice are essential part of my teaching session.

I have a long experience of teaching mathematics on various levels from GCSE mathematics up to university level. I am currently the Mathemtics Subject Leader on the Warwick University Higher Education Foundation Programme at Stratford upon Avon College. I teach mathematics on this programme. I also teach A level mathematics and A level Further Mathematics. I run a workshop preparing students to sit for AEA mathematics and STEP papers.
From 1999 to 2004 I was a member of the Mechanics Development Group of the MEI A level Mathematics Board whose task was to develop the mechanics syllabus and provide training for teachers teaching A level mathematics.

My name is Toby, I am 19 and have just come back from a year abroad in France. I currently work as a lifeguard and musician and am heading to Reading University to study french and business in september. I am a fluent french speaker who is fresh from learning the language to fluency, so am very much in touch with the language-learning process from a student's point of view - I know exactly where the hudrles lie and how to overcome them.

Teaching Experience:
I studied french up to A Level and took a year out in France, working as an Au Pair to the Marquis de Biliotti family at the Château d'Anjou in Lyon. I was in the highest class level at my Lyon university (C1/C2 class) and learned the language fluently. I have experience teaching English to children in France, and have worked as a telephone translator and PA translator.

I have been tutoring GCSE English for many years in a college. I keep up to date with current changes in the syllabus and regularly attend training with my organisation. My last observation resulted in an outstanding grade. I am used to working with groups of students and giving 1 to 1 tuition. Edouard was born and educated in England. He has resided in Canterbury, Leeds, Oxford, London, Shrewsbury, Ludlow and Oswestry. He gained five 'A Levels' (AAABC) at Notre Dame 6th Form College (Leeds) before attending Oxford University where he obtained Degrees in Philosophy and French. He proceeded to do Postgraduate studies in London where he was semi-resident at the British Library (1993-1998).

He has been a widely published author since 1999, being the author of dozens of essays and monographs in Philosophy, Comparative Literature, Poetry and Psychology. He is co-author of the self-help book 'Reading in No Time' and author of the forthcoming publication 'French in No Time' (2020).
