I conduct initial "Student Assessment" that gives an insight on the strengths/weakness of the student. Thereafter, I propose appropriate "Study Plan" to the parents depending on the students' needs and targets, and work towards the mutually agreed plan. Moreover, I provided regular "Constructive Feedback" including "Progress Report" for the student. Also, I conduct regular "Tests" to assess student's learning progress and to ensure it is aligned with the set goals, setting out "regular homework" for the student as well.

I have worked in theatre for forty years as an actor, director, Artistic Director, playwright and teacher. After a drama degree, I trained as an actor and worked for ten years in fringe, rep, and educational theatre with a little TV on the side. I then moved into directing and writing and - eventually - teaching. I have worked with all ages from small children to older people in care; youth theatre, new writing, touring theatre and regional rep as both director and Artistoic Director. I have taught at several leading drama schools.

Tutoring Approach:
I have found that in essay subjects it is helpful to break down each question that could come up in an exam into the assessment objectives required. I hope to help the student realise how to meet these objectives in their essays under timed conditions. This can be achieved through essay plans and mind maps once the content has been reviewed.

Hi, I'm Meg and I'm currently a student at York St John University studying English Language, Linguistics and TESOL in my second year. I'm 20 years old and have a love for languages and I'm in the process of self studying Korean and Japanese!
