I am a native speaking qualified tutor with more than 19 years of' language training experience. I have worked for the University and secondary schools as well as taught privately. Furthermore, I have first-hand experience of running businesses, which helps me better understand the needs and requirements of my business clients. I have experience in successfully preparing my students for their GCSE and A-level exams as well as supporting university students.

I have authored a series of Russian language textbooks, available on Amazon, at Foyles, Waterstone's and other major book-stores and used at universities and schools worldwide.

I am currently studying for a Biological Sciences PhD. I have an MSc in Applied Marine Science and a first class honours BSc in Marine Biology.
I love my subject and want to share this with the next generation while helping them achieve the best that they can.

I don't believe in giving the answers, it does not help anybody. My approach is to explore the question/problem/topic. If a question can be explored from a different angle then the answer is always reachable. Learning shouldn't be just memorising facts, but really understanding a topic. My language learning journey started in the same way it does for most of us - at secondary school. I fell in love with the French language at an early age and went on to complete an honours degree in French Studies at the University of Birmingham. During my year abroad, I lived and studied in Montréal, where I took classes in French, Italian and Spanish at McGill University and also fell in love with the Spanish language and culture.
