My name's Louisa, I'm 36 years old, and I'm an experienced tutor of both adults and children. I play the flute, accordion and piano. I have had a classical music education, and in recent years I have also studied blues, jazz, rock, pop, folk and gypsy music.

Teaching Experience:
I have been giving private lessons in music theory, flute, accordion and piano since 2002.

Music Theory: Many of my students are gigging musicians who have decided they want to learn how to read music and how to understand harmony. I also teach a lot of students who are studying at music colleges, universities, or in schools, who need extra help with understanding music theory in able to pass their exams. Alongside music theory I also teach sight-reading, aural skills, and composition.

I am also well qualified for the job with a BA Honours degree with triple distinctions in Spanish, Italian & French as well as Teacher Qualified Status and a CELTA. I have also lived, worked and studied in Spain, Italy, France and Greece.

I have studied a lot of languages myself. I've studied over 30 languages over the years. I have achieved fluency in the languages I teach, but I have also reached a fairly good standard in some other languages or have acquired a basic knowledge of many others. Hi - my name is Jonathan. I am a former primary school assistant headteacher, currently between jobs as I head towards a new role in initial teacher training. I therefore have plenty of availability in the coming autumn term to offer expert maths tuition for children heading towards 7+ or 11+ exams OR GCSE November resits.

Between 2021 and 2024, I taught at a leading West London day school as a Year 4-6 maths specialist teacher. I therefore have a strong understanding of the independent school landscape across London and am confident in preparing children for the mathematical demands of these exams.
