Personal Description:
Experienced language tutor with excellent proficiency (oral/ written) in 3 languages.

I am an experienced tutor in teaching French (up to GCSE and IGCSE, A'Level and International Baccalaureate and beyond). I also teach German and Italian up to GCSE/IGCSE level.

I also teach conversation and practical French for adults looking to use the language for holidays/buying/maintaining properties in France as well as business French or just for general use

Have valid CRB disclosure

Teaching Experience:

I have been teaching for the last 10 years at all levels and have consistantly produced good results in my students at A' Level/IB as well as GCSE/IGCSE.

I am fully conversant with all Exam Boards and GCSE/IGCSE/A'LEVEL/IB etc. syllabuses

I have also taught French to adults at all levels for example who have just wanted to be able to converse comfortably while on holiday, use French to purchase a house in France. I have taught those who want to learn from scratch as well as those who are already at a reasonable level and want to improve their oral and writing skills for business or pleasure

Tutoring Approach:

My approach is firstly to assess closely where the gaps in my pupil's knowledge are and then build on closing them through grammar and vocabulary. I therefore give my students the building blocks to construct their own sentences in writing and speech.

I will work with them sometimes using their own text books but also I provide my own material to make the lessons more interesting. I will use games/quizzes as well as focussing on past papers and oral exams to help them gain confidence in the language.

I engage well with all my pupils and they always enjoy their lessons with me so that their time with me does not feel like just another extension of school

My conversation lessons with adults are always fast-paced and fun and my pupils widen their vocabulary and gain confidence in the new language very quickly

Personal Description:
Dear Parent / Guardian,
If you value a teacher's qualifications and experience,
If you appreciate the many years of hard work the teacher has done to get them,
If you're happy to pay a reasonable fee for that experience,
If you want a friendly, patient tutor with a traditional approach to teaching,
Then you could be my ideal parent !
And I'd love to hear from you

My name is Michael,
I'm a specialist teacher and tutor in Physics and Maths online, via Zoom.
I am a fully qualified (B.Sc., M,Sc., PGCE + enhanced DBS certificate), professional teacher and tutor of Physics, Maths and Science- with 25 + years experience of teaching to Key Stage 2, Key Stage 3, GCSE, IGCSE, AS / A2 - Level, as well as considerable experience as an examiner and Head of Physics Department.
For 16 years I have offered tuition from my home in Twickenham, Richmond and online.
Online works very well for most students.

Teaching Experience:

25 + years of classroom teaching and tutoring across the full ability range in KS2, KS3., GCSE and A-Level.

From 2014 I have developed my resources so that I can offer the same top quality tuition online to students anywhere in the UK and abroad as I can to face - to - face students.

Tutoring Approach:

By discussion with the student and parent I establish the learning needs of the student.
I work with the student to devise teaching and learning strategies to suit the student.

We use Zoom for conversation. I share my qualifications, my certificates, my CRB / DBS, my references, and discuss the student's educational needs, just as I would if face-to-face.

Together - the student and I - we compose our lesson notes which I write out and - at the end of the lesson - I scan the notes and send them to the student.
We can also use and share an interactive online whiteboard, just like a sheet of paper between us, and of course screen - sharing technology to bring our tuition notes to the home of the student.

We try to make the online learning experience and working relationship as similar as possible to a face - to - face learning experience.

I offer a top quality tuition package - friendly, patient and reliable - to meet the needs of the individual student who wants to improve her / his grades and is prepared to work hard.

Whether the student needs help with homework, coursework guidance, specific topics, revision strategies, or exam technique and practice at past exam papers, etc. . . help is available, and the student and parents WILL see improvement.

The fee covers not only the hour of tuition time, but also:-

pre-lesson preparation time;
providing personalised lesson notes at the end of each lesson;
setting homework or past exam paper;
marking homework or past exam paper;
providing online support between lessons;
providing feedback to students and parents.

So, when you consider the full package, you will see that each lesson means you get at least 2 hours of a specialist teacher's time and the benefit of his years of work and experience as a teacher. I believe that the tuition "hourly" fee is actually very good value for money and compares well with fees charged by similarly qualified and experienced tutors. I hope you will agree and I look forward to hearing from you..

I am available for tuition during the day as well as after school.

I am based in Whitton, Twickenham.
I offer tuition online.

Thank you for taking the time to read my profile

If you would like further details or to discuss your individual learning needs or to arrange an online Zoom consultation meeting please contact me.

Michael.

Personal Description:
I am a very experienced senior architect and interior designer, and diploma in teaching from The Coventry City College (PTLLS) I'm experienced in Spanish lessons for many years in the UK and in Spain, I am self-motivated, extremely punctuality, inspirational, work effectively within a group and private if require. I am a confident, fun person with a clear understanding of students needs. I enjoy motivating people and use a pro-active and manage different teaching style.

Teaching Experience:

My teaching experience in Spanish language is more than 10 years long. I deliver Spanish classes in Spain for foreigners in Madrid and Malaga, and here in UK, I deliver classes for different organizations and private academies, like. Coventry Research centre for the Blind People, Open Hands, Sacred Hearts Foundation and The language academy "Sunflower Languages" in Rugby.

Tutoring Approach:

All classes allowing students to learn in a relaxed environment and is proven to be the most effective way of language learning. If you feel daunted by the thought of learning Spanish in a large group, my sistem is for you. Small or private class size allows for attention to the individual student, more active participation for each student and therefore better and faster language learning.
I always organice many different activities, (spanish cinema, shoping, reading,invite spanish people to mantain conversation with the students, and many extra out-door activities)

Personal Description:
I have been tutoring for four years and I have a lot of experience supporting students in improving their Film Studies grades by 2-4 grades. I studied Film at university and I have an insatiable passion for Film and an unquenchable thirst for learning. Currently, I am an English language tutor, an assistant at an arts festival, developing a YouTube series and training to become a karate instructor. I believe Film is the most influential tool in this generation. I plan to make the most of this potency during my career by creating films of value and meaning. I am intrigued about everything within the world of film, from the making of the piece, to the reading, writing and analysis of the subject. I graduated with a First Class Honours and was awarded with the prize for 'consistently excellent work in film production with outstanding commitment, energy and enthusiasm'. I believe the positive attitude I have is contagious to whomever I am working with.

Teaching Experience:

Currently, I am a KS3 and GCSE English language tutor at a tutoring centre. Being bilingual, I naturally see the beauty in languages. However, this view has intensified through my experience of being an English tutor; I am much more aware of the power behind being able to articulate or express one's thoughts accurately, be it in an exam or in life. My strength in English is in dissecting the language and finding the core meaning of a text. Additionally, I have had diverse experiences in the teaching world; I taught adults English to a beginner's level in Prague last year and I am training to become a karate instructor. This means constantly being around young kids and adults and catering to students' different learning abilities.

Tutoring Approach:

The theoretical and conceptual side of Film is where I excel. I love to get to the depth of a shot or piece of dialogue and deconstruct it for its true meaning; thus understanding through this artistic choice the intention behind the director's work. I always ensure to create an atmosphere where students feel encouraged to ask as many questions as they need, as well as to transfer as much of the knowledge that I have gained through my many years of studying film as well as the practical advice from my recent experiences in the film industry. My end goal is to build up the confidence of the students I work with, so they no longer need me.
