Personal Description:
I graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2017 in Economics, and before that did a post graduate Mathematics masters at the University of Warwick. My academic credentials are very good, having achieved 5 As at A Level - the top marks, including 100% in various mathematics exams, when I took them in 2008.

If you are looking to apply to Oxbridge or another Russell group university, I can provide better tuition than someone who has not been to Oxbridge and does not know the system.

I have been tutoring Mathematics at all levels from GCSE to university for 3 years. I have also tutored English at GCSE level.

As my full time career I work as a consultant within Big4 consulting having worked for Parliament for 5 years prior. I am able to offer career guidance having worked both in consulting, banking and politics. My time in Cambridge means I can give guidance about Oxbridge applications.

Teaching Experience:
I have been tutoring Mathematics at all levels from GCSE, A Level and even university for 3 years. I have also tutored English at GCSE level.

Tutoring Approach:
My approach is very student centric - focused on the needs of the student. If I believe theory is lacking, I will explain the theory in a comprehensive way. If I believe application is missing, I will go over many questions, guiding the student through them. I have a mix of my own questions and past paper questions that I use. As the exams draw nearer I will focus more on past papers.

I also give each student, if they or the parents want it, activities to do which I will mark at the next session. This is like homework except I will try to make it more engaging and fun. None of my activities are generalised - I will base each on what the student requires. For example, in the past my activities have ranged from book work, to a problem solving puzzle to solve over the course of the week, to an essay, to even a relatively light exercise of reading any magazine article and giving a presentation on it.

Tutoring Approach:
The key to successful tutoring lies in tailoring the content of the classes to the student's needs and objectives. For GCSE/A level, a rigorous approach may be required to ensure that grammar and vocabulary is secure, whereas an adult learner may want a pleasant meander through the joy of learning something new and exciting, or a quick progression to adapted text. Whatever the case, I think learning or revision should be fun too, and I aim to make my lessons as enjoyable as possible, whilst keeping a close eye on exam deadlines where relevant!

Teaching .. my true vocation in life. If someone were to ask me what is the best thing I can do with my life, I would answer without any doubt "Teaching". I love teaching and learning at the same time, in fact, I usually say that I cannot remember a day in my life without studying or learning something new.

Teaching Experience:
Today I am teaching Spanish at Hinckley & Nuneaton College. Additionally, I teach privately and I deliver Spanish tailored courses to companies such as Jaguar and public institutions such as the National Crime Agency (NCA). I collaborated as a Spanish teacher with Sidney Stringer Academy (GCSE) when I was completing my Diploma in Education and Training at the University of Warwick. Tutoring Approach:
I make my lessons as interactive and enjoyable as possible using all kind of activities, flashcards, games, music, art and stories. It is amazing how quickly children, teenager and adults pick up the language in a natural way, without stress. I try to teach not only a language but also the Spanish lifestyle, cuisine, customs and culture.

I have had experience working in both the public (5 years) and private sectors (6 years) of education and have taught students of different age groups which has enabled me to develop the skills and abilities required to be able to encourage and promote the students best potential. I am able to set priorities, identify problems and focus my attention and energy on resolving these issues. I have been tutoring for four years and I have a lot of experience supporting students in improving their Film Studies grades by 2-4 grades. I studied Film at university and I have an insatiable passion for Film and an unquenchable thirst for learning. Currently, I am an English language tutor, an assistant at an arts festival, developing a YouTube series and training to become a karate instructor. I believe Film is the most influential tool in this generation. I plan to make the most of this potency during my career by creating films of value and meaning. I am intrigued about everything within the world of film, from the making of the piece, to the reading, writing and analysis of the subject. Currently, I am a KS3 and GCSE English language tutor at a tutoring centre. Being bilingual, I naturally see the beauty in languages. However, this view has intensified through my experience of being an English tutor; I am much more aware of the power behind being able to articulate or express one's thoughts accurately, be it in an exam or in life. My strength in English is in dissecting the language and finding the core meaning of a text. Additionally, I have had diverse experiences in the teaching world; I taught adults English to a beginner's level in Prague last year and I am training to become a karate instructor. I'm a creative, passionate, patient and empathetic teacher and careworker with years of experience supporting children across their primary school journeys to find their confidence and love of learning. Over the years I have worked both in schools as an SEND TA and a mainstream class teacher, and outside of schools supporting families and young people with SEND to access support.
