I am Argentinian from Buenos Aires and have been living in the UK for 16 years. I have a good level of experience teaching a range of age groups and in different settings, as well as a good command of both languages.

I have taught Spanish at the Korean Institute for two years, with students ranging from 5 year olds up to adults. Many students come to maths exams with anxiety and stress; this arises from a variety of sources but often is due to a feeling of helplessness in the face of what can appear to be an unfathomable fog of confusion. My job is to give candidates the confidence and self belief to tackle any questions they may encounter in the exam. The first thing I like to do is to get an honest appraisal of where they are initially so we can begin to identify what needs to get fixed, and start plugging the gaps in their knowledge. Programming and software development is both a hobby and a career for me, and I'd to share some of the knowledge I've built up over the years.

I have a Computer Science BSc (Hons.) first class degree from Royal Holloway University of London, graduating in 2017. Since then, I have worked full-time in the software industry, with a focus on programming and full stack development. I have experience in every aspect of programming and software, from gathering requirements from customers and architecting software solutions, to deploying databases and secure applications to the cloud. I can pick up and help you with just about anything, however my speciality is with C#/Java, Javascript/Typescript, HTML, CSS, SQL and NoSQL databases, UI design and implementation. Furthermore, I have hobby-level experience with game development, primarily with Unity.

I hold a first-class master's of civil engineering from a Russel Group University. At A-Level I received the following: A* Maths, A* Geography, and A Physics. Professionally, I have interned with the UK government's Environment Agency, worked as a project engineer in Hong Kong, and am currently undertaking a research internship in Space Applications for Geographic Information Systems in Disaster Risk Reduction at the United Nations. I am knowledgeable in a wide range of practical topics for young people, such as writing personal statements, CVs, degree choices and finding internships. If requested, I am always happy to advise on these topics alongside my tutoring!

Teaching Experience:
Throughout college I helped and supported my fellow peers with maths and geography during lunch drop-in hours. In university I undertook the role of being president of the Civil Engineering Society where I led other students and publically spoke.
