I have a years experience as a Maths teacher within a secondary school in Birmingham. I have had experience of tutoring an A-Level student, a year 9 student and a GCSE student. In eight short weeks I was able to help this student achieve the desired A-grade she had hoped for, improving by a massive two grades. The huge feeling of pride and satisfaction from this sparked a passion for teaching mathematics. I have also completed the Teach First Insight Programme. The final week of this scheme involved teaching in Nene Park Academy in Peterborough and I was able to give a year 9 class a mathematics lesson.
