I am a native speaking qualified tutor with more than 19 years of' language training experience. I have worked for the University and secondary schools as well as taught privately. Furthermore, I have first-hand experience of running businesses, which helps me better understand the needs and requirements of my business clients. I have experience in successfully preparing my students for their GCSE and A-level exams as well as supporting university students.

I have authored a series of Russian language textbooks, available on Amazon, at Foyles, Waterstone's and other major book-stores and used at universities and schools worldwide.

I am also well qualified for the job with a BA Honours degree with triple distinctions in Spanish, Italian & French as well as Teacher Qualified Status and a CELTA. I have also lived, worked and studied in Spain, Italy, France and Greece.

I have studied a lot of languages myself. I've studied over 30 languages over the years. I've been teaching Film Studies for over twenty five years now - it's a wonderful career which has enabled me to combine my enthusiasm for the subject, with developing effective teaching strategies to help students achieve their potential. I have extensive experience of teaching Film Studies A level at a sixth form college, where I'm also the head of subject.

My subject expertise is evident in my PhD qualification which I gained in 2019. It was a fantastic experience in many ways, not least in that I got to be a student again, a valuable reminder of the pleasures but also the stresses of studying.
