Personal Description:
I am a recently graduated film student and also have several years vocational experience in IT service engineering, computer repair and website design. I currently hold a BA (Hons) Media Studies and I completed my MA Documentary Practice at the University of Bristol in 2007.
Teaching Experience:
I have spent the last year lecturing various aspects of sociology, media production and media theory on a freelance basis, mainly to students at college level but also in universities and secondary schools. I have a wide range of teaching competencies and I possess practical skills and experience in editing, camera operation, sound recording, website design, website development and computer repair.
Tutoring Approach:
I am a relaxed and patient tutor although I operate at pace. I like to push students in their development to allow them to find and utilise their own strengths and abilities. I am confident and experienced in tutoring students of all ages and abilities. I can tutor online or on site at no extra cost.
