Personal Description:

I am a part time visiting lecturer & tutor at Oxford University, Ruskin College . As a visiting tutor at the Ruskin College, Oxford University, I run seminars and deliver lectures for 1st -3rd year Fine Art BA students. This incorporates Art History and Contemporary Art Theory. This teaching post draws heavily on my BA in Philosophy (Sussex University).

I work as a freelance tutor to focus more closely on teaching Philosophy and it's related creative fields which, as an Independent Curator, I have also come to specialize in; Art History, Contemporary Art theory and Theatre Studies.

Tutoring Approach:

I am a deeply committed teacher, with an advanced understanding of the forms of engagement that enable a student to make substantial progressions in their chosen field of study. I aim to teach my students how they can foster their own unique understanding of their discipline and develop their own ideas. I do not solely provide students with facts, information & explanations. I teach, and this is very different.
