Information About Naomi:


Personal Description:

I am currently a second year student at the University of Exeter studying History and Theology. I have a heartfelt passion for helping struggling students, and I aim to help them exceed their expectations. As I have only recently gone through many of the exams that pupils now have to work through, and have a brother who is still working for these exams, I have an up to date working knowledge of how to get through them with good grades.



Teaching Experience:

I have no formal teaching experience, however I have informally tutored other pupils all through school. I have spend a large amount of time working with my elder sister who has severe dyslexia. I was often asked by teachers, while I was at school, to help the students who were struggling.



Tutoring Approach:

I like to be creative in my tutoring, and try to find ways of teaching that fit the tutee. For some discussing ideas is more useful than working through textbooks, and for others the use of images rather than words makes learning and remembering more easy.

Qualifications:

  • A-levels in History, Maths, History of Art and Art: 4 A's
  • 11 GCSE's: A*'s in History, Maths, Art and Religious Studies. A's in Biology, Physics, English Literature, English Language. B's in French, Latin and I.T.
