Information About Vivien:


Personal Description:

I live in the Brighton area , love the theatre and music, enjoy traveling and meeting new people and adore cats. Another passion is cars and property development. I hold a clean driving licence. I currently lecture at a college within the area, however have held positions within travel and business and worked for The Princess Trust Co-ordinating their qualifications, achievements, reviewing standards and staff training.
Ive also run my own travel agency business.



Teaching Experience:

I'm a qualified lecturer / tutor and have experience in delivering, marketing, business, travel & tourism and customer services. Ive also delivered one to one English for overseas learners. Ive trained travel and tourism for over 25 years and taught for over 12 years. I attended Portsmouth University and gained my Cert Ed.
Ive delivered courses and one to one tuition for all age ranges from age 14 to mature learners. I'm also a qualified external verifier for leading awarding bodies and a examiner. I'm a qualified NVQ Assessor in the work place and hold both D32/D33/D34 and V1 Awards. I also have experience in special needs support and study skills.



Tutoring Approach:

Each individual is assessed and delivery is set to how the student learns best, assessment can be written, verbal, oral, role play, discussion etc depending on programme and delivery, the tutoring is discussed with the student.
Learning should always be fun so achievement can be gained.
